damn... how long has it been? last i updated was that i was about to go to europe and now europe is over already... i should talk about it i guess? Summer Vacation: Europe was awesome. It was romantic, extravagant, beautiful and of course foreign. i love spending time with the significant other when we're away and no one is around to bug us. oh i miss it already. i can't wait for belize. Paris was gorgeous, the shopping was wonderful, the walking not quite. it was dirty and people were mean but we made the best of it. If anyone ever makes it out there... around notre dame, right across the stree behind the big pub there's a mess of restaurants that serve 3 course meals for like 15 euros. real cheap food. budget friendly and food is not bad. Geneva.. don't ever go there, there's nothing to do there but look at that stupid fountain. Venice. gorgeous. but only spend a few days there b/c you can probably do everything the first few days. people are somewhat friendlier than in Paris. st. mark's square, pigeons beware. they poop. gondola rides, oober expensive think 80 euros that's almost 120 Us dollars..jeezes phug for only 30 minutes...gelato yummmm 1 euro.. best price ever! pizza 1.50 euro... yummm. wine 12 euros.. yummmm... unless you're rich just stand next to it and take a picture ; ). Nice. gorgeous, french riviera, beaches, expensive-ness. 78 euros for some swimming trunks. monte carlo. oober oober expensive-ness... we say jay-z <-- that was fun, he has a big head and big ol' lips. fancy fancy fancy. beefbar. oh my stomach. huynh had plenty of beef. right now.. i'm in desperate need of some extra cash, does that mean i have to get a part time job. my current job pays real well but it's only covering bills, car payment, insurance, and daily spendings. i still need to pay off that one student loan. grrrrrrrrr. damn it all UW. we'll see... plus i have to save for my big move to Japan.. speaking of which... BIG MOVE! i'm moving to Japan... to reside, it's not a vacation. I will be working and living in Japan for the next year. this is so wonderful, i'm so nervous but i'm so excited at the same time. Living on my own is something i've always wanted to do but i have these obligations: parents... i love them and they don't want me to move. I always imagined my first move would be to like an apartment somewhere in Seattle where i can still come home for laundry and food.. but i never imagined my first move would be out of the country. i will sure miss my mom's home cooking but i guess it's a good start for me to prepare to cook and clean for myself. oh so sad. it's like a new chapter of my life and i don't even know what's going to happen. am i going to be home sick? will anything change while i'm gone? will my dogs forget me? who's going to visit? what's huynh gonna do? he better not find someone else! i don't know, so many questions... i'll be leaving 1/23/07 and bought my 1 way ticket yesterday... omg. i've never bought a one way ticket before it was weird. returning? i don't know when? So much travelling this coming year... 1/18/07 - 1/21/07 VEGAS BABY! celebrating duyen's 21st bday round 1 1/23/07 - -------- Japan 05/07 - -------- week off work, so off to SE Asia (Thailand, VN, Cambodia, Laos) 06/07 - --------- vacation from work, flying home to seattle for Huynh's graduation 06/07 - --------- vacation from work, flying to Hawaii (yet again) to celebrate Duyen's 21st bday round 2 09/07 - ---------- vacation from work, flying to Belize with Huynh 1/08 - ---------- returning home to Seattle. jeezes... that's a lot of flying. well that was a long blog since i'm making up for neglecting xanga for myspace. omg! enjoy guys! and happy holidays. |
